Auctions selling industrial biological marine resources to be held in Moscow

A closed auction for the sale of industrial quotas for the catch of biological marine resources will be held at the European-Asian exchange on Friday. The press service of the Ministry of Economic Development reported that the auction will be held in keeping with a decision of the Russian government. To be auctioned will be quotas for the catch of herring, pollack, cod, flounder, halibut, sauri, grenadiers, tuna, greenling, crabs, shrimps, squid and sea pecten.

Admitted to the auction of all types of biological marine resources are Russian private individuals and legal entities owning or renting vessels.

Foreign companies of countries who have inter-government agreements in the fishing sphere with the Russian Federation will be admitted to participation in auctions selling quotas for the catch of cod, halibut (with the exception of the North-Okhotsk sub-zone) sauri, grenadiers (with the exception of the South-Kurile sub-zone) and squid (with the exception of the South-Kurile sub-zone).
