Russia to repay $661m in foreign debts this October

This October, the Russian Finance Ministry is to repay $661m in foreign debts, the Ministry reported to RBC.

Payments to official creditor countries, banks and companies will amount to $280m, including $224.362m in principle and $55.862m in interest. International financial organizations will receive $381m, including $349.528m in principle and $31.126m in interest.

In total, the 2002 federal budget has allocated about $227.091bn for repaying foreign debts this year.
