The press service said on Tuesday that the investigation into the firing at the Jewish community building in Novosibirsk was considering three versions - an act of anti-Semitism, hooliganism and a sort of protest against building up the micro-district.
On the night of Sunday, unknown criminals opened automatic gun fire on the Jewish community building being constructed in the micro-district. The hooligans shot at the building a few times from a distance of some 30 metres. The metallic shot hit the walls and a window. The window glass broke as a result.
There were construction workers in the building the moment it was fired at. Fortunately, no workers were hit. The police were called, but the criminals had disappeared by the time they arrived.
A criminal case has been launched pursuant to the article of "hooliganism". The police are looking for the hooligans.
