Offshore Software Manufacturers in Russia Increase their Market Share to USD 350 Million in 2002

Russian offshore software manufacturers have increased their share of the market to USD 350 million in 2002. As a Rosbalt correspondent reports, this was confirmed by Russian Deputy Minister of Communications and Informations Boris Antoniuk. He added that in 2001 this figure was only USD 154 million. The Ministry of Communications estimates that world software manufacturers lose about USD 30 million every year because of the piracy in Russia.
