USA Supplied Iraq with Biological Agents?
Moscow asks Pentagon for information on allegations that USA supplied Iraq with biological agents
Military and diplomatic sources have confirmed that Moscow has asked the Pentagon for more information on allegations that the Centre for Coordination and Prevention of Diseases in Atlanta and the American warehouse of biological agents supplied Iraq with dangerous agents between 1985 and 1988.
The matter in question is said to be potentially dangerous materials which could be developed into weapons of mass destruction, namely in the creation of biological weapons. The same sources state that the materials are seven strains of anthrax and more than seven strains of bacteria which provoke galloping gangrene.
