Tuva cherishes and supports farmers

In Tuva, 35 farmers received new agricultural hardware, whereas five farmers received certificates worth more than one million rubles. The head of the Republic, Sholban Kara-ool, thanked the farmers for their wish to develop agriculture on their native land.

"This support encourages people, and people understand that they are in demand, that they are needed, that other people need their production. Therefore, if in each region, like in Tuva, there were such measures of support, it would be just perfect for farmers. One needs to make it clear for them that they are in demand, that their farmers need to be developed, - Svetlana Maximova, a member of the Agricultural Committee of the State Duma told Pravda.Ru. - Farmers, in most cases, invest every penny in their farms. They have to invest everything in production to make it better. A small farmer is an agronomist, an accountant, an economist, a tractor driver and everything else. Not only they develop organic products, but they develop the territory, keep the environment in our country."

"When regional authorities help farmers, take maximum efforts, allocate money or expensive equipment, it deserves every encouragement possible, - State Duma deputy Roman Khudyakov told Pravda.Ru. - We can see it now, when tough sanctions have been imposed on Russia, we must see that we must develop agriculture, because Russia should not depend on buying food from other countries. Believe me, if we strengthen our agriculture, we will not be dependent on any state!"

The Tuva authorities continue to help farmers build their production through both subsidies and different types of rewards, both material and moral ones.
