Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin will not run for president

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin will not run for president of Russia in 2018, he told participants of the international discussion club Valdai.

Sobyanin succinctly answered the question of whether he was going to run for presidency.  "I won't," said the mayor of Moscow.

Sergei Sobyanin won in the first round of the election of the mayor of Moscow, which took place on September 8. The ceremony of inauguration of the elected mayor of the capital took place four days later.
