Nizhny Novgorod develops program of mortgage housing

The Nizhny Novgorod region continues to implement the program to provide low-rise housing to employees of healthcare, education, social protection, culture and sports institutions for 2012-2024 with the use of mortgage.

Nizhny Novgorod Governor Valery Shantsev visited the town of Gorodets, where a whole street - Svetlaya - was built within the scope of the program. In total, there were 39 single-family houses built, as well as nine apartments in the three-storey 30-apartment residential building on Svetlaya Street. Forty-eight lucky families of state employees have thus received new housing.

"Of course, we have to build more and build better, so that the words: "Every Russian should have comfortable and affordable housing" became reality. I am very happy that almost 50 families, representatives of the public sector, have received new homes. The program of mortgage lending is being implemented in the Nizhny Novgorod region since 2012 and allows to provide housing to regional residents at affordable cost. Such positive developments should go in each district of the region," governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region Valery Shantsev said.

In Gorodets, housing was provided to 23 health workers, 17 educators and eight employees working in cultural, welfare and sport institutions. All participants of the program have received one-time payment of 10 percent from the regional budget for a total value of more than eight million rubles.

In 2013, 22 specialists will receive housing in Gorodets. Quadripartite agreements with program participants have been signed in 2013 - the people will receive 21 apartments in the 30-apartment building on Schastlivaya Street and one individual residential building (65 square meters).
