The Proton-M carrier rocket with three GLONASS satellites blasted off 0.4 seconds before the appointed time, the head of Roskosmos, Vladimir Popovkin said.
Due to the early launch, rocket engines did not have time to reach the required mode. The pressure in combustion chambers was 90 instead of 150 atmospheres.
Popovkin earlier said that the launches of Proton carrier rockets had been suspended until the completion of the work of the commission to investigate the failed rocket launch on July 2.
