Boston attacks echo on vehicle of US diplomat in Moscow

Unknown individuals spray-painted the vehicle of an American diplomat in Moscow, Interfax reports, citing an unnamed source in law enforcement bodies of the Russian capital.

Inscriptions in the Russian language appeared on the Nissan SUV with diplomatic plates. The inscriptions were about the April attacks in Boston. Other inscriptions, in English, were made on the hood, fenders and doors of the car, the anonymous source said. 

The contents of the inscriptions were not exposed. The source only said that the incident happened on Friday on Druzhinnikovskaya Street.

On April 15th in downtown Boston, two explosions occurred near the marathon finish line. Three people were killed, over 260 were injured. According to investigators, the bombings were organized and conducted by Tsarnaev brothers - 26-year-old Tamerlan and 19-year-old Johar.

A few days after the attack, Tamerlan was killed in a shootout with police, while Johar received gunshot wounds and was arrested. He is currently being held in Devens medical center just outside of Boston. He faces a sentence of up to death penalty or life imprisonment.
