Audi Automobile Concern to Increase Sales in Russia by 30%, in 2003

In 2003, Audi Automobile Concern plans to increase its sales in Russia by 30% on the year to 4,000. This is according to the statement made during a press conference in St. Petersburg by Oscar Akhmedov, the head of Audi's office in Russia. He said the number of Audi automobiles sold in Russia in 2002 was supposed to reach over 3,000 before this year was over, making about a 20% increase on the year. Mr. Akhmedov added that why early in the year the number of Audi dealers in Russia had been 8, it was supposed to reach 15 by the end of December.
