Moscow authorities agree to hold opposition march on Jan.13

Moscow authorities do not see problems in coordinating the opposition march on January 13. The head of the department of regional security of the Moscow City Administration, Alexey Mayorov, expressed his readiness to meet with the organizers of the action, although the exact time of the meeting has not been appointed yet.

According to Mayorov, city authorities offered two options to the organizers of the march and are ready to discuss them. The first option stipulates the march on the Frunzenskaya Embankment from the Krimsky Bridge to Luzhniki; the second one is about the march from Strastnoy Boulevard to Sakharov's Avenue.

"One can come up with a hundred of other options, but that is not the point. We are ready to discuss these two options and coordinate one of them," said Alexey Mayorov.

He also stressed that the route should be agreed three days before the action, that is, today, reports Interfax.

In turn, coordinator of the Left Front, Sergei Udaltsov, told the Russian News Service that there were several options for the route of the oppositionmarch.

"Our final compromise is the march along the boulevards from Trubnaya Square to Kropotkinskaya Metro Station with the number of participants of up to 20 thousand people. The coordination process was delayed because of the holidays," said Udaltsov.
