Arms show to be held in Russia's Sverdlovsk region

Vice Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin will lead the preparations for the exhibition of arms and military equipment in Nizhny Tagil. "This show should bring a great benefit," he told the participants of the meeting of the Union of the military-industrial complex of the Sverdlovsk region.

Dmitry Rogozin appeared in front of the participants of the meeting on video screens. Sverdlovsk Governor Yevgeny Kuyvashev, who attended the meeting, pointed out the importance of this decision to further enhance the prestige of the exhibition and the development of Nizhny Tagil.

"There is a federal exhibition centre being built in Nizhny Tagil to demonstrate military ground vehicles. The implementation of this project will significantly improve the infrastructure of the city as one of the largest industrial centers of the region," said Yevgeny Kuyvashev.

In addition, the head of the region emphasized that there will be two exhibitions held in the Sverdlovsk region on a federal level this year, with the support of the country's leadership. It goes about an exhibition of arms and Innoprom 2013.

The international show of arms, military equipment and ammunition is held every two years to demonstrate the opportunities of producers of the Russian Army. The exhibition allows to expand sales markets among foreign partners.
