Plenipotentiary of RF President in Central Federal District Ivanovo supports the competition for the title "European Capital of Youth - 2015"

Plenipotentiary Representative of the Russian President in Central Federal District Alexander Beglov met with the talented youth of the Ivanovo region. During a working visit to the region on August 10, he visited the Youth Educational Forum "Olympus - 2012." The meeting was attended by Governor Mikhail Men'.

Alexander Beglov supported the participation of the city of Ivanovo in the prestigious European competition, "European Capital of Youth." He considers the team's participation in the final competition a victory. "I will support you in every way. This is a very interesting Initiative. In my opinion, such activities should involve not only the Ivanovo region, but other areas of CFD and our country. Maybe we should organize such a competition for Europe so they can come here and try to win. I'll think about it ", he said.

At the "Olympus" Alexander Beglov informally talked with young people and answered questions from the participants. Young people were interested in issues of a youth government at the federal level, legislative support of the volunteer movement, the return of the assignment system after graduation, and construction of a ring road in Ivanovo. The young people suggested forming an education cluster in the Ivanovo region.

The official noted that the region is well fit for work with young people. "Ivanovo region is the only one in the Central Federal District with an organized youth camp. The Russian President during his visit to the All-Russian Youth Innovation Forum" Seliger-2012 "proposed to create such camps in all regions," he said.
