International Festival "Electronic Future - 2012!" in Yakutia

On Friday, August 10, the cities and settlements of Yakutia will stage the International Festival "Electronic Future - 2012". This year the festival will be held under the auspices of the Far East Educational Forum "SahaSeliger 2012" and will run through August 19.

The Festival will be patronized by the Public Chamber of Russian Federation, Ministry of Communications, Federal Agency on Youth Affairs, and Commerce and Industry Chamber of the Russian Federation. The organizers of the Festival in the Republic of Sakha include Russian Agency for the Development of the Information Society RARIO, the government of Yakutia, and the Information Center under the President of Yakutia Yegor Borisov.

The Republic will be visited by the representatives of information areas: Head of RARIO, chairman of the Presidium of the Council of Public Information Development "Rosinformrazvitie" Aygistov Alexander, executive director of the Public Council on Information Development "Rosinformrazvitie" Anatoly Ganin, Director of Public Relations of the Regional Network Information Center RU-CENTER Andrei Vorobyov, and others.

The experts in the information sphere will get together in order to discuss the state of affairs in the provision of the electronic services in the government sector, to identify positive and negative factors of influence on the development of the situation, discuss the features of cyberspace for people with disabilities and other issues of information law. As a result of the activities, the participants of the festival in Yakutia will be offered new forms of cooperation between the authorities and the public.

The festival was previously held in many Russian cities: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Smolensk, Nizhniy Novgorod, Kaluga, Bryansk, Pyatigorsk, Krasnodar, Omsk, Vladivostok, Khabarovsk, Birobidzhan, in Sakhalin. It was also held in China, North Korea, Kazakhstan, Cuba, and Abkhazia.
