Nizhny Novgorod attracts investors

The Minister of Investment Policy of Nizhny Novgorod region, Natalia Kazachkova and director of the department of urban development of the Nizhny Novgorod region Alexander Bodrievsky held talks with the president of architectural company I Progetti. The talks were conducted on Tuesday, March 6th, within the scope of international real estate exhibition MIPIM in Cannes.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the prospects for bilateral cooperation and interaction in the form of public and private partnership. According to Natalia Kazachkova, Massimo Furlan, the President of I Progetti, expressed interest in working with the Nizhny Novgorod region. "We have a number of potential investors who are willing to come to the region to get acquainted with it thoroughly and present their projects," said Massimo Furlan.

The members of the official delegation of the Nizhniy Novgorod region indicated the need to develop instruments of public-private partnerships in the region. The minister for the investment policy said that the projects in the field of international cooperation, such as the ski resort in the Pavlovsk district or a hotel in Ankudinovka the industrial park, would be most interesting for investors.

"The objects of sports infrastructure and public services such as hotels and restaurants will be in demand most in the Nizhny Novgorod region in the near future. Such facilities will be given special attention during construction," said Alexander Bodrievsky.

Natalia Kazachkova said that the Nizhny Novgorod delegation also planned to conduct negotiations with such companies as OWPlan Group and Ernst & Young within the scope of the international real estate exhibition, the News-NN.Ru agency reports.
