Yakutia approves budget for 2012

The law "About the State Budget of Sakha Republic (Yakutia) for 2012" was approved on Wednesday, December 14, at a regular plenary session of the State Assembly (Il Tumen).

The basic characteristics of the state budget of the republic were determined on the base of the envisaged gross regional product in the amount of 452.5 billion rubles with the inflation rate not higher than 6.2 percent. The program part of the spending of the state budget was categorized into three directions of the implementation of 37 state-run programs: "New life quality," "Innovative development and modernization of economy," "Effective state."

Each state program was elaborated in two variants: the basic and the intensive variant. In the first variant, the total volume of funding of state programs at the expense of all sources in 2012-2016 will make up 1.217,1 billion rubles. The second variant stipulates the total funding in the volume of 1.374,1 billion rubles.

The programs are conducted to decrease the level of the unemployment - down to 7.6 percent in 2016, increase the birth rate coefficient, cut the coefficient of the death rate, reduce the number of orphans, etc.

The basic parameters of the budget 2012 are the following: income will make up 109 billion 960,5 million rubles; the spending will make up 114 billion 354,1 million rubles. The increase on both income and spending made up 228 million 205 thousand rubles. The amount of the budget deficit remains unchanged - 4 billion 393.6 million rubles.
