Kirov region governor builds up good reputation in Russian media sources

Today Nikolai Shaklein appears in Russian media sources even more often that such famous Russian politicians as Alexander Khloponin (Krasnoyarsk region), Egor Stroev (Orel region) and Sergei Darkin (Primorski Krai).

These are the results of the survey made by Medialogia company which has formed the list of most popular governors according to publications in regional and federal media sources.

The company analyzes all open sources of information: newspapers, magazines, information agencies, internet sources, radio and television. The information favor index shows the attitude of media sources towards regional chiefs and governors.

The growth in Kirov region governor’s index means that media sources have started to write about him more often and in more positive tone. It might have been caused by a number of important events in the region – Vyatka diocese anniversary, all Russian media forum ‘Na semi kholmah’ and the fact that Nikolai Shaklein took an active part in United Russia meeting.

Nikolai Shaklein has also taken a higher position in the list formed on the basis of amount of news published in regional media sources of Privolzhski federal district. Nikolai Shaklein has taken the 6th place out of 14.
