Austria: Florschuetz and Wustlich triumph in doubles

Andre Florschuetz and Torsten Wustlich of Germany celebrated their first World Cup win this season, claiming victory in a doubles race on the Olympic track Sunday.

In a combined time of 1 minute, 19.704 seconds the pair beat Italy's Christian Oberstolz and Patrick Gruber, who finished 0.023 seconds behind. Gerhard Plankensteiner and Oswald Haselrieder completed the podium, the AP reports.

World Cup leaders Patric Leitner and Alexander Resch of Germany finished fourth on the day, but held their overall lead with 526 points. Oberstolz and Gruber are second with 516, followed by Austrian pair Markus Schiegl and Tobias Schiegl with 445 points.
