British police investigate report that former Three Degrees singer suffered racist taunts
Police said Friday they are investigating reports that former Three Degrees singer Sheila Ferguson suffered racist taunts while appearing in a Christmas show.
Ferguson is starring as the fairy godmother in a production of "Cinderella" at a theater in Canterbury, southeast England.
A spokesman for Kent police said a man in the audience allegedly shouted racist remarks at the 58-year-old singer as she walked on stage for the evening performance on Dec. 2.
