A suicide car bomb exploded near a U.S. military convoy in Baghdad on Thursday, killing one Iraqi civilian and wounding four others, police said.
No American casualties were immediately reported.
The attack, which occurred at about 9:30 a.m. in a commercial area of eastern Baghdad, damaged at least three civilian cars and nearby shops, said police Maj. Mohammed Yunis.
The Iraqi civilian who died was a woman, he said, reports the AP.
