Iraqi Schools Increase Security

Schools in Baghdad have added blast walls and posted security guards outside, the killing of five teachers last week signals the start of a new trend in Iraq's insurgency.

The attack south of the capital has left parents fearful for their children's safety at school while teachers worry such violence may lead students to give up their studies.

Rarely have schools been attacked in Iraq's relentless violence and while the victims were Shiites, most of their students were Sunnis, the AP reports.
