Austrian police detain 25 suspected dealers in crackdown in Salzburg

Police in Salzburg arrested 25 suspected drug dealers and seized marijuana, cocaine and the amphetamine Ecstasy in a series of raids, authorities affirm.

A total of 72 people were suspected of involvement in the drug trafficking ring disrupted by the weekend raids, police said in a statement.

They said officers seized 16 kilograms (35 pounds) of hashish and marijuana along with smaller amounts of cocaine and Ecstasy with an estimated street value of €150,000, the AP reports.
