Collapsed shelter killed 1 archaeologist on Greek island of Santorini

A large metal shelter collapsed at an archaeological site on the popular Greek island of Santorini, killing one person and injuring at least three more, state NET television reported.

Rescuers were trying to extract two other people trapped under the shelter at the prehistoric site of Akrotiri, the report said.

The identities of the dead and injured were not immediately available, the AP reports.
