Fire breaks out in New Delhi's domestic airport

A minor fire broke out at New Delhi's domestic airport on Friday, but there were no casualties, television stations reported.

Firefighters put out the fire, which broke out in a room housing computers in the Indira Gandhi airport, the private New Delhi Television station said. There were no casualties from the blaze, which appeared to have been caused by an electrical short circuit, NDTV said.

Passengers waiting for domestic flights were evacuated from part of the airport, AP reports.
