Israel's historic withdrawal from Gaza is underway as soldiers closed the main crossing allowing Jewish settlers to leave without return.
But officials said that they believe at least 4,000 Jewish settlers are still in Gaza. They’re given have 48 hours to leave their homes before they are evicted by force.
In the first signs of resistance to the withdrawal, Jewish settler at Gaza blocked the gates of their communities Monday, saying they will prevent the Israeli forces from carrying out eviction orders.
Israeli troops were deployed across Jewwish settlement to deliver the notices.
Also 7,500 Palestinian security men have been deployed on the outskirts of the fortified settlements to prevent possible attacks.
