At least 13 people were killed Tuesday in a vehicle blast in the Nadterechny district center Znamenskoye in Chechnya, reports Pravda.ru. The vehicle was used by law enforcement forces.
The blast occurred at 13:30 Moscow time. According to local police, at least five were wounded. Local law enforcement officials said, militants first fired at the vehicle when it was entering Znamenskoye, and then exploded it.
Later the information on the blast was confirmed by head of Chechen government Sergey Abramov who arrived at the site of the explosion.
