Russia's outage: act of terror not ruled out

The Russian Industry and Energy Minister, Victor Khristenko, said that "the indications of external interference" in the Chagino substation were revealed, reports ITAR-TASS.

Replying to the question if he thinks that the breakdown in Chagino is caused by a terrorist attack, Mr. Khristenko said: I don't think that there was a terrorist attack, though the investigation is underway, and the specialists work out different versions".

He promised that the reconnection of all vital objects would be finish shortly.
