Police say French suspects arrested in European crackdown on pedophilia

About 10 suspects have been arrested in France in a crackdown on pedophilia covering eight European countries, French police said Friday.

The week-long operation, dubbed Callidus, got underway Monday, police said.

French computer software for monitoring Internet Web sites was used to target suspects, police said. About 10 suspects have been arrested in France. There was no immediate information on any arrests elsewhere in Europe.
