Storm warning in Kamchatka

A storm warning was passed on in connection with a cyclone moving towards the Kamchatka Peninsula (Russia's northeast) from the Sea of Japan.

It is sleeting in Kamchatka's south and the wind force is 15-16 meters per second, the Kamchatka inter-regional territorial department of hydrometeorology and environmental monitoring told RIA Novosti.

According to meteorologists, on Sunday night the wind force can reach 30 meters per second.

All Kamchatka services and fleet received the storm warning.

The cyclone will be raging for at least two days.
