Landslide in Kazakhstan's south kills 28 people

Rescuers have pulled out 28 bodies underneath the landslide in the south of Kazakhstan, the Kazakh Emergencies Ministry reported.

There were 4 children and a Chinese citizen among the killed people. There is still no information concerning the other people in the area of the disaster. According to rescuers, 20 people are still missing.

On Sunday at 2 A.M. a landslide hit Ak-Bulak sanatorium in the Talgar district of the Alma-Ata region.

The landslide partly destroyed apartment building of the sanatorium and wiped out an accommodation barrack.
