Georgian border guards detain two small Turkish boats on Abkhazian coast

Georgian border guards have detained two Turkish boats on the Abkhazian coast, according to the Georgian Border Guard Department. The boats were engaged in illegal activity in Georgian water. According to Georgian law, their owner will have to pay approximately USD 130 thousand to recover the boats. Turkish authorities confirm the detainment. At present the boats are located under arrest at the Georgian port of Poti. Abkhazian authorities did not comment on the incident.
