Defense Ministry has 3 versions of jetfighter crash

A special commission of the Russian Defense Ministry considers three major versions of the catastrophe of the MiG-29 fighter that crashed on November 12 in Armenia, a source in the flight security service of the Defense Ministry told RBC. "In such situations the commission first of all discusses versions of an equipment failure while using a plane, the so-called human factor, and the influence of the environment on flight conditions," the source pointed out. "In the event with MiG-29 the Defense Ministry commission will have to check all three versions. It is too early to talk about the cause of the crash before the investigation is over and aircraft recorder are decoded," the source added.
