Chechen capital native with homemade explosive detained in Moscow region

In the town of Solnechnogorsk, Moscow region, officers of the Department for Combating Organized Crime and the regional State Road Traffic Inspectorate detained an inhabitant of the Chechen capital of Grozny who had on him a homemade explosive device. RIA Novosti was told about it in the Main Interior Affairs Department of the Moscow region.

According to its spokesman, "in the bag of the detained the officers found a homemade explosive device which consisted of a 400-gram TNT block and five rounds to an underbarrel grenade launcher." "An electric detonator and an alarm clock were fastened to the explosive which was wound by scotch," he said.

A criminal case has been launched in this connection under the article of "illegal keeping of explosives" of the Russian Criminal Code, pointed out the spokesman.
