Two Interior Ministry officers wounded in Chechnya

On Thursday, the Interior Ministry of the Chechen republic informed RIA Novosti that two Russian Interior Ministry officers were wounded as a result of shelling in the Oktyabrsky district of Grozny.

According to the Interior Ministry, the shelling took place at 1:05 p.m., Moscow time. Several unidentified persons in a car unexpectedly opened fire at the VAZ-2106 car with the two officers.

Major Igor Vrublevsky, the chief of the Oktyabrsky district's provisional interior department, and Captain Nikolai Temeskov, an operative were wounded in the attack. They have been hospitalised.

The police is actively searching the criminals.
