Attorney General accuses YUKOS-Moscow President of tax evasion

The Attorney General intends to bring formal charges against YUKOS-Moscow President Vasily Shakhnovsky for evading taxes. The Attorney General's press service told Rosbalt yesterday that is being accused of evading taxes for the period of 1998-2000. The total tax amount was estimated at approximately USD one million. The office tends to file a formal request to prevent Shakhnovsky from leaving the country, until the accusations are resolved.
