Two explosives set off under electric train in North Caucasus

The explosion under the electric train on its way from Kislovodsk to Mineralnyye Vody (North Caucasus) was a terrorist act, a RIA Novosti correspondent was told at the press service of the Railways Ministry of Russia.

It has been established that the blast was caused by two explosive devices planted on the railroad at a distance of five meters from each other, the press service said. The explosives were off simultaneously.

According to the Interior Ministry of Russia, five persons died and 20 were injured in the explosion.

And according to the information provided by the Medical Center for Incidents in the Stavropol territory, 30 persons have been taken to hospital.
