The fire in the oil complex in Chechnya extinguished

On Monday, the militants set on fire one of the tanks at the oil complex nearby the railway station of Chervlyanaya in the Shelkovskoy district in the north east of Chechnya.

As RIA Novosti was told today in the Chechen Interior Ministry, the tank, which contained about 100 tons of oil, was set on fire by shots from flame throwers. Two empty hoods from flame throwers were found on the place of the incident.

In the evening of the same day the fire was extinguished. Investigation is going on.
