Ex-State Duma deputy murdered in Chechnya

Nobody has been detained on suspicion of a murder of the former deputy of the Russian State Duma (the Lower Chamber of the Russian Parliament) Nadirshakh Khachilayev, head of the press service of the Dagestani Interior Ministry Abdulmanap Musayev reported /Dagestan is a federal republic on the western coast of the Caspian Sea/. Thus, the official refuted all reports by some media about the detention of the suspect.

"Dozens of people can be taken to local police departments as witnesses of the crime during the investigation. All reports on the detention of any suspect of the murder are premature and only make harm," Abdulmanap Musayev said. Nadirshakh Khachilayev was murdered in Makhachkala on Monday night.
