The criminal case, which was launched in connection with the explosions in Tushino (the north western part of Moscow) and in Pervaya Tverskaya-Yamskaya Street, is now in the most active stage of investigation. The deputy head of the information and public relations department of the Prosecurtor General's Office of the Russian Federation, Natalia Vishnyakova, told reporters about it on Monday.
She also said that at the present time it is difficult to add something new to the investigation of the criminal case, which was launched with regard to the corruption among the officers of the Interior Ministry's bodies. She told the reporters that within the framework of this criminal case a search was conducted in the garage of one of the staff-members of the Interior Ministry's bodies - Demin. In the course of the search there have been confiscated 60.000 US dollars, seven pistols, one grenade and office documents.
She added that at the present time all the confiscated weapons were undergoing expertise and the office documents are attentively studied.
