Pilots eject in MiG crash
The press service of the Russian Airforce has reported that an accident occurred at 7:42 on Thursday during a training flight made by the Armavir aviation garrison (the Krasnodar territory, southern Russia). Major Alexander Tarasov, the pilot-instructor, and cadet Sergei Shapovalov managed to eject.
No casualties or damage to the area of the plane's impact have been reported. The pilots have been taken to the Armavir garrison's hospital.
A special commission, which is due to flight from Moscow on Thursday, has been set up to investigate the accident.
