Russian Border Guards Confiscate Over One Ton Of Drugs Along Tajik-Afghan Border

Russian border guards confiscated more than one ton of heroin along the Tajik-Afghan border since early 2003.

This was disclosed today at the Russian border guards' press center in Tajikistan.

Yet another batch of heroin (some three kg) was found in a cache April 18 by soldiers from the Kalai-Khumb border-control detachment, press-center people noted.
