Five servicemen and militiamen wounded in Chechnya

Militants launched two attacks on the roadblocks of the federal forces in the Zavodskoi district of Grozny.

As RIA Novosti was told in the Interior Directorate of Chechnya, five servicemen and militiamen were wounded.

According to law-enforcement bodies, fire with automatic weapons was opened on the roadblock at a crossing of two streets. As a result of fighting, three persons received bullet wounds.

Several hours later a check-point and a point of temporary disposition of Karachai-Circassian militiamen at the Kirov settlement also came under fire attack with grenade-launchers and submachine-guns. Two militiamen were wounded.
