Head of numerous terrorist group arrested in Chechnya

A numerous separatist group head - so-called "emir jamaata" of the Shali district - was disarmed in the district centre of Shali in the outcome of a special operation, conducted on July, 3. The regional operative HQ did not disclose the name and surname of the member of the group and the so-called emir but reported that the aim of the operation had been to liquidate the numerous terrorist group, headed by Sabiyev.

The operation was carried out by the criminal police service anti-organized crime department of the Russian Ministry of the Interior temporary operational group, the Regional operative HQ, controlling the anti-terrorist operation in the North Caucasus reported.
