Chechen terrorists fight Pakistani servicemen

Approximately 2,000 Pakistani soldiers have been deployed to the town of Wana, the capital of the Pashtun autonomous region of Southern Waziristan. In the late hours of Tuesday, 10 soldiers and officers assigned to the 23rd Baluch regiment and local Pashtun scouts were killed in a clash with Arab and Chechen terrorists from the Al Qaeda terror framework. This information has been disclosed by the News newspaper. Five combat helicopters are currently surveying the territory.

The information about the involvement of Chechen terrorists has been submitted by the US FBI /Federal Bureau of Investigations/. A searching operation to find terrorists is continuing.

Other sources report that the clash left 12 Pakistani servicemen dead. Two Chechen terrorists and a certain Mohammad Yahya were killed. One Chechen escaped imprisonment by exploding himself on a grenade.
