A policeman was wounded when detaining a militant in the Urus-Martan district of Chechnya. RIA Novosti received this information in the regional operative staff for controlling counter-terror operation in the North Caucasus.

On Sunday, commando officers detained on Sunday a local citizen suspected of involvement in illegal armed formations. A skirmish took place leaving one policeman was wounded.
