3 servicemen wounded, 1 militant killed in Grozny clash

Three servicemen were wounded and one militant killed in the course of an armed clash in the Chechen capital Grozny. Around 7:30 Moscow time on Thursday, an engineering reconnaissance party of the Russian interior troops ran into an ambush in Grozny's Zavodskoi district. Militants blew up a radio-controlled landmine and attacked the party with automatic weapons and grenade launchers. The servicemen opened response fire, killing one militant, whom law enforcers are now trying to identify. Three soldiers were hospitalized with wounds.
