Suspect of Kaspiisk terror attack detained in Daghestan

A terrorist supporter has been detained in Daghestan's town of Khasavyurt at the boarder with Chechnya. The Head of the press service department of Daghestan's Interior Ministry, Colonel Abdulmanat Musayev, said that the detainee is suspected of supporting Rabbani Khalilov's terrorist gang. According to the law enforcement agencies, the gang is responsible for the terror attack in Kaspiisk that is 50 km to the south of Daghestan's capital of Makhachkala. The land mine exploded in the Central square of the city killing 42 and injuring more than 100 people. The gang is responsible for other bloody attacks. Near the detainee's house an arms cache was detected. 42 TNT sticks, 75 grams each, grenades and more than 1,700 cartridges of different caliber were confiscated.
