In Chechnya, the so-called Military Council of Shura run by separatists has executed the death sentence for a Dagestani native, whom it previously accused of poisoning the Saudi warlord Khattab, reported Qatar's QNA news agency. The agency cited a statement allegedly distributed by the Military Council of Shura in the Chechen capital of Grozny as saying the murderer, an Ibragim Alauri, Avar by nationality, from North Caucasian republic of Dagestan, Chechnya's neighbour, was put to death through shooting on May 13. Earlier, Alauri was accused of "committing treachery by cooperating with Dagestani secret services." According to the statement, he was the one who put poison in a letter addressed to Khattab.
