Israel may decide to deport Yasser Arafat out of the country

After the terror attack in Rishon Litzion Israel may decide to deport Yasser Arafat, the leader of the Palestinian National Administration. In any case the Israeli radio is pointing to such a possibility referring to people close to Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, said the RIA Novosti correspondent. The Head of the Israeli Government is now on his way back from the USA as he has cut short his visit because of the terror attack. Ariel Sharon is coming to the Air Force Base near the Ben-Gurion International Airport where he is expected to hold a meeting with the Cabinet of Ministers on the security issues and to determine the action Israel should take in response to the terror attack. Many experts say Israel may take tough measures as Sharon said in Washington that such a situation couldn't go on forever. He said that Yasser Arafat was to blame for the terror attack. Many right-wing politicians of Israel have been speaking for long about the Arafat's deportation out of the Autonomy. They are, first of all, Avigdor Lieberman, the leader of Israel-our Home Party and Benny Elon, the leader of the Moledet party. Leader of the Shas religious party Eliyahu Yishai joined them on Wednesday; he is for Arafat's deportation but he points to the fact that it is necessary to assess the current situation and to determine whether it is the right moment to do this. At the same time the left-wing politicians argue against Arafat's deportation as, they cliam, it can do harm to Israel. Daliya Rabin, the daughter of Yitzhak Rabin, is against the deportation of the Palestinian leader. She is a philosopher and the country's deputy defense minister.
